Christina Darnell is a marketing transformation leader with 20+ years of experience building marketing capabilities that help businesses grow, modernize, and compete. Her career spans advertising, consulting, and corporate marketing, including work with global agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and major brands across B2B, B2B2C, and consumer markets.

She currently leads Global Marketing across U.S. Connected Living and international markets at Assurant, where she is evolving how marketing supports growth across regions, clients, and consumer touchpoints. Her work focuses on building stronger teams, scalable capabilities, digital enablement, and more effective ways to help Assurant win, retain, and grow client relationships.

Earlier in her career, Christina founded her own marketing consulting company and held roles across agency and corporate marketing, including JWT, now Wunderman Thompson, a global advertising agency. At JWT, she helped build the agency’s first social media team in North America and led the Marine Corps Recruiting Command’s shift from traditional advertising to social as a measurable recruiting channel. She created a strategy to engage prospects where they were already spending time, reduce friction in the lead process, and give recruiters clear guidance for using social media effectively and responsibly. The program included national Marine Corps channels, 600+ local recruiting pages, and governance for 5,000+ recruiters. It helped the Marine Corps become the first military organization to surpass one million Facebook fans, later exceeding two million, while Facebook became one of its top sources of qualified recruiting leads.

Christina grew up in Florida, graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University, and now lives in Georgia with her husband, Gabe, and their sons, Truett and Torin.
